American Express lowers interest rates on consumer Blue and Clear credit cards

American Express announced Monday lower minimum standard interest rates on its Blue, Blue Cash, Blue Sky, and Clear credit cards for consumers.
American Express has dropped the regular APRs for its AMEX Blue, AMEX Blue Cash, and AMEX Blue Sky, credit cards to 8.99% from 9.99%. In addition, the Blue Cash and Blue Sky cards’ 0% introductory APR on purchases has been extended to 12 months from six months.
American Express also lowered the regular APR for the AMEX Clear card to 9.99% from 10.99%.
