Editor’s review: Blue Cash EverydaySM Card from American Express is one of our most recommended credit cards because it is the only credit card with which you can earn 5% cash back at grocery stores, gas stations, and drugstores.

Rewards: Card members earn 3% cash back for every purchase made at supermarkets, 2% cash back at gas stations and department stores, and 1% cash back for every purchase made everywhere else. There is no limit on the amount of cash back you can earn.

Rates and fees: Blue Cash EverydaySM Card from American Express carries no annual fee. The APR for this card will be determined based upon your credit worthiness and is variable, currently between 17.24% and 21.24%.

New card members get a 0% introductory APR on purchases for up to 12 months. Blue Cash EverydaySM Card from American Express uses the average daily balance method (including new purchases) of calculating your monthly balance. This card has a 20 day grace period.
